What types of services do you offer?
I provide professional counseling services for school-age children, adolescents, and adults. I also prepare psychosocial assessments and give presentations on topics related to mental health and professional development.
What issues do you specify treatment for?
I see individuals seeking help for anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress. I also provide help in issues related to parenting, academics, career, and relationships. My goal is to help individuals seek solutions to life's challenges while gaining self-confidence and improving interpersonal skills.
What therapy modalities do you use in your practice?
I use a cognitive behavioral approach within a warm, supportive environment. I make sure that my clients feel safe, heard, and understood. Through the therapeutic process, my clients feel empowered to improve their relationships at home, at work, and wherever they may be. I facilitate rational thinking, the emergence of positive feelings, and the practice of healthy behaviors.
When should someone seek treatment?
I believe that the relationships we establish with ourselves, with our loved ones, and with people in general greatly influence our well-being. Sometimes we feel exhausted and unable to find solutions to our problems, and in the meantime, our problems get worse. Counseling can help but seeking the right counselor can be a challenging. I make these initial steps as easy as possible, so that we can focus on finding solutions to what is really important to you and what to do about it.
